Creators of the Orro Smart Living System, Orro, have announced WAVE Electronics has now joined its lineup of nationwide distributors. This marks the fourth major provider to offer the company’s human-centric lighting and smart home control system, furthering their commitment to bringing broader availability of their wellness-driven product to professional integrators.
“The message from professionals has been loud and clear. They love what Orro offers their customers,” says Patrick Gall (PG), head of channel development for Orro.
“The addition of WAVE Electronics is a major step forward in our commitment to making it easy for pros to gain access to Orro One Pro. From training and dealer marketing services to channel distribution, WAVE is known as a ‘brand building partner.’”
Orro Unlocks New Revenue Opportunities for Integrators
The addition of WAVE Electronics to the product’s distribution ecosystem comes at a key time, officials say. The product has been steadily gaining in popularity amongst home builders, electricians, professional integrators and lighting professionals.
According to Orro, their solutions allow professionals to unlock new revenue opportunities by introducing an easy-to-sell, easy-to-install system that builds off other elements that are already being added to a home. Starting as a true human-centric lighting solution, Orro allows builders and integrators to add extra value to their projects by unifying other smart home products they may already be installing in a home.
Its integrations extend to several smart home products already such as Sonos, Nest, Ring and Ecobee, with additions like Control4 on the way. Additionally, Orro is capable of adding extra functionality to these integrations, such as scenes or voice-control, enabled through Alexa integrations.
Beyond that, multiple Orro switches can be added throughout the home to expand access and also enable room to room communications through the switch’s built-in intercom system. Orro’s touchscreen also provides a design-forward solution to smart home control, taking up no more space than the light switch it replaces, and blending seamlessly into the home environment.
