Designed to inspire an active lifestyle, the assisted living community at Oakmont of Fullerton very carefully delineates the boundary between the indoors and the outdoors for residents. Situated in Orange County, California, the resort-style community featured 101 units across 96,372 square feet of land as well as a memory care neighborhood. The ultimate goal is to create an inspiring and comfortable that encourages seniors to stay engaged while catering to the individual needs of residents at varying life-stages.
The location is inspired by the area’s historic California Craftsman architecture. Overhanging eves, stacked stone accents, and exposed wood beams call to more rustic tones. Fresh, contemporary interiors inspire relaxed living through a natural palette of blues, taupes and greys. Mixed woods and fireplaces add a cozy, warm aesthetic while artwork featuring landscapes and natural elements provide pops of color and energy throughout. Furniture is elegant, sturdy and functional—chosen for its simple, clean lines. Residents also have access to an array of amenities including a library, movie theater, fitness center, game room, and day spa with massage room.
Meanwhile, outdoor living areas, featuring native landscaping, small seating areas, and peaceful touches such as bubbling fountains, allow residents to take advantage of Southern California’s year-round mild climate.
