Antrax IT presents the Pioli, taking the traditional image of the radiator and retelling in contemporary language. Designer Andrea Crosetta creates a heating body with clean and linear designs reminiscent of a ladder.
The radiator is composed of two carbon steel “rails,” each made of %100 recyclable materials extending 207 cm, with the ground resting version possessing chromed metal feet. The rungs are made of the same material, grouped in clusters of three with a length of 40 to 50 cm with square sections that play at negative space, creating a rhythm between solids and voids.
Pioli is available in either hydraulic or electric versions and can be either set on the floor or wall mounted, each providing a space-saving heating solution that blends into home environments as more of an accent piece, rather than an appliance. Noted for its high thermal performance and low energy consumption, the radiator can be selected from over 200 color variants from the Antrax IT catalogue.
