Bluesound introduces its latest generation NODE and POWERNODE Wireless Hi-Res Multiroom Streamer, and Wireless Hi-Res Multiroom Streaming Amplifier. The product has received an assortment of upgrades including more powerful processors, touch panel controls and proximity sensors.
Bluesound’s BlueOS is the brains of the outfit, allowing integration with multiple voice recognition software to provide hands-free music selection in any room of the house for an on-demand and immersive audio experience. Full-feature drivers are also available for popular control systems for professional installers.
Other features include Wi-Fi or Ethernet Internet connections, Apple AirPlay2, and aptX HD Bluetooth options so that users can stream content from other smart devices connected to the main network. It also comes with RCA, Toslink optical, HDMI eARC and 3.5mm connection options for even more versatility.
The POWERNODE, meanwhile, offers many of the same features with the addition of home theater options to enable integrators to add PULSE Flex 2i speakers and the SUB+ to allow the amplifier to reproduce a range of AV content.
Both the NODE and POWERNODE have an MSRP of $549 and $899, respectively.
