The motion activated sensors allow the device to dispense medical-grade synthetic ethanol by a user simply presenting their hand. Made from a 75% alcohol solution, it is effective at killing up to 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria. Being synthetic made, it also offers a far higher purity than most agricultural sources of ethanol.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts for up to 6 months between charges (depending on frequency of use), making the product easy to integrate into existing infrastructure. An additional spare battery slot within the dispenser allows for quick battery changeover and continuous use in busy areas, while a safety locking mechanism secures the device when in operation.
