ams OSRAM presents the Osconiq E 2835 CRI90 (QD), a new Quantum Dot LED, pushing the already ultra-efficient design of LEDs to new heights for luminaire manufacturers.

The new lights utilize Quantum Dots (QD)—specialized semiconductor particles—that emit light in different wavelengths depending on size as blue light hits them. This allows them to make very precise adjustments in color temperature while delivering outstanding efficiency values.

The Osconiq E 2835 CRI 90 (QD) is available in temperature ranges from 2200 to 6500 K and is rated for efficiencies of more than 200lm/W. QDs provides by OSRAM are also wrapped in protective packaging that protects them from moisture and other external influences.

A CRI 80 component is also available for office and retail lighting, as well as the Osconiq E2835 Cyan, which produces a spectral peak in the blue wavelength range that suppresses melatonin production in the human body, making it ideal for Human Centric Lighting solutions.
