Fil Doux Textiles introduces Copper Shield by Pro-Tech, a new copper-based treatment procedure available for select textiles within their catalog. To curb the damage wrought by mold and mildew, Copper Shield was developed for the hospitality industry with warm, humid locations in mind.

The “shield” provides an antimicrobial barrier, as well as ink and denim protection through the use of a natural copper layer for select Fil Doux Textiles’s fabrics. A topcoat is applied directly onto the fabric and vinyl that prevents mold and mildew without using harsh chemicals. Guests are kept safe from mold and mildew, as well as toxic cleaners.
