Reed panels from Turf Design break the acoustic mold, introducing graceful shapes that combine to form soft, undulating textures within a space. The three-dimensional tiles can be arranged along a variety of axis, allowing builders to play greatly with the ripple effect of each panel. Though, no matter the configuration, the company notes that the piece retains its original purpose as a piece of high-performance acoustical material, bringing both audio and visual comfort to occupants.

All Reed panels have an acoustical rating of NRC .92 and are Red List Free, as well as being Reach Compliant and Certified Clean Air Gold by Intertek. With 100% recyclable PET felt using up to 60% pre-consumer recycled content, each Turf acoustic solution will meet the most intensive sustainability standards, according the company.

Turf also notes that the felting process used to create PET felt often results in a heathered effect where multiple tones are present, so slight and consistent variations in color should be expected when using this sustainable material. Felt thickness may also vary by up to 1/32” between 9 mm felt colors.
