CEDIA, the global association for the home technology industry, has announced the ‘House of Power,’ a free, two-part webinar series exploring all parts of residential energy from energy management, monitoring, creation, storage, current user trends and how home integrators can turn these varied elements into winning business opportunities.
Each session will start with a welcome from CEDIA Senior Director of Technology and Standards Walt Zerbe and an analysis of the residential power and energy market presented by Parks Associates Senior Analyst Chris White. This will then be followed up by a roundtable discussion among industry experts.
“Technology in the home is growing to unprecedented levels, and the role of the integrator is more important than ever,” said CEDIA Director of Strategic Partnerships Ian Bryant. “Connected and integrated power and energy systems are experiencing wide adoption by consumers and the building community alike.
“Integrators now have an opportunity to diversify their business offerings and bring new value, convenience, and security to the homes of their clients. We are very excited about the upcoming discussions at House of Power and intend to keep the conversation going by finding ways CEDIA can support integrators as they delve into this category.”
Both webinars will be globally accessible and held on June 29th and July 13th. The content and panelists for each session will be as follows:
House of Power, Session One: Power Management and Monitoring
On June 29 at 11:00 AM EDT (15:00 UTC), panelists from leading residential power companies will discuss the evolution of power management, the needs of the consumer at both the mid-market and luxury levels, and the ever-growing business opportunities for the integrator channel.
