Following the continued growth and interest in the health and wellness category, it only makes sense that CES 2022 should bear such a massive showcase of the most recent innovations. In 2021, a Consumer Technology Association (CTA) study found that 20% of United States households used online health services for the first time, and 20% plan to continue using them into the next year. 25% of homes now have air purifiers, 23% have smart or connected health monitoring devices and 19% have connected sports or fitness equipment.
For those attending January 5 – 8, the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center will feature some of the latest and most innovative health technologies. These include remote patient diagnostics, digital therapeutics, mental wellness tools and more with newcomers to the category and industry veterans making appearances on the showroom floor.
CES 2022 will also be showcasing some of the latest innovations tackling pandemic-related concerns, such as viral detection, air purification, disinfection and more. Some of the products include ViraWarn from Opteev, an airborne COVID-19 detector, the SIMULIA PowerFLOW software developed by Dassault Systems, which can simulate the spread of water droplets in environments, and BULO by Breathings, a device that measures lung health and provides personal breathing exercises. You can see the full list of over 2100 CES exhibitors here.
“Technology improves our lives in so many ways, and that is especially clear in the health sector,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “The pandemic spurred rapid innovation from digital health companies across the globe who continue to find ways to make our lives safer, happier and longer. We are thrilled with health technology’s strong presence at CES 2022 and look forward to its continued growth in the years ahead.”
