Residential lock manufacturer Kwikset has unveiled two of its latest smart lock products: the SmartCode 260 Keypad Deadbolt and the SmartCode 270 Touchpad Deadbolt. Both are available in Traditional (TRL) and Contemporary (CNT) styles and feature BILT app support, which offers 3D instructions on installing and setting up the devices.

Built-In Antimicrobial Protection Adds Extra Layer of Safety to Products
Incorporating a host of new features, the SmartCode 260 Keypad Deadbolts add a 10-button keypad design, 50 user codes, a faster motorized deadbolt, brighter LEDs and Microban antimicrobial protection technology built into the finish and keypad. TRL styles are available in Polished Brass, Satin Nickel and Venetian Bronze finishes, while CNT styles include Satin Nickel, Matte Black and Polished Chrome finishes.
“Many of our mechanical locks have Microban, but this is our first electronic keyless entry lock where we can say it has the protection of Microban,” said Josh Hodgson, Product Marketing Manager at Kwikset.
The SmartCode 270 Touchpad Deadbolts introduce a new touchpad interface design that combines tactile feedback with all the aforementioned features of the keypad models. TRL styles are available in Satin Nickel and Venetian Bronze finishes, while CNT styles include Satin Nickel and Matte Black.
