Crestron has a lively time prepared for this year’s showing at CEDIA Expo 2022. Following a year of tremendous investment to the Crestron Home OS platform, Crestron has developed an entire showcase surrounding the operating system’s capabilities. Every function of the company’s booth this year will be controlled by Crestron Home, from a health-focused wellness oasis to the company’s ever-evolving ecosystem of third-party devices. It’s set to be a wildly interactive experience for its CEDIA debut.
“CEDIA Expo will be the first time many home technology professionals have had a chance to experience Crestron Home first-hand at a major tradeshow,” said John Clancy, Executive VP, Residential, Crestron.
“Crestron Home has reimagined the way dealers approach the installation and configuration process of highly coveted Crestron systems while maintaining the customized control that homeowners demand. As a result, Crestron Home is a platform that can scale with any project and deliver the same bespoke Crestron experience everyone expects.”
Crestron Shines a Spotlight on Personalized Health & Wellness in the Home
What has us particularly excited at DesignWell is the proposed health and wellness features that will be at the booth this year. Just this year, the company rolled out brand-new LED light fixtures that deliver human-centric lighting for the home, which pairs nicely with the pre-existing Crestron SolarSync integration. Both will have a chance to shine at the booth, showcasing how the pairing can be used to achieve an unmatched circadian lighting experience.
Crestron will also be teaching a class on Fully Tunable LED Lighting Powered by Crestron Home OS to help dealers get up to speed on the burgeoning market.
Additionally, Crestron will demonstrate how the Crestron Home OS enables a homeowner to control both Crestron and third-party devices and systems such as lighting, HVAC, energy management, and air purifications to create their perfect wellness space.
Attendees to the show will get a chance to experience how incredible these spaces can be, while also getting a chance to see how they can set it up on the Crestron Home system. How the technology plays in tandem with one another will also be explored further in the session, Health & Wellness in the Home – A Technology Overview with Kelly Eager of Delos.
Crestron will also be showcasing an array of third-party devices that make up the broader ecosystem. This includes newer integrations from kitchen appliances, door entry solutions, artwork, energy management, keypads and so much more.
The company even has a handy list of all that’s possible on its “Works with Crestron Home” page.
Introducing New Ways of Configurations for Pros
With professionals at the heart of creating smarter, more beneficial homes, Crestron is also keen on demonstrating new approaches that can help maximize its benefits, including simple integrations with the latest product launches. Dealers will also get hands-on demos with other new products, such as Crestron Network Power Controllers that work with the OS Device Health Dashboard, the latest security integrations from new partners and much more.
There will even be discussions on the advantages of using smart controls like Crestron in larger Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) projects. There’s plenty of unique interactions that can be enabled through the system, the company notes, such as admitting guests into a building. Outside of this, there will still be several classes provided by Crestron, including an introduction to the platform as well as a look at how customizable one can get with the system.
