As if in extravagant celebration of world wellness day earlier this month, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills opened a floor completely dedicated to wellness.
In partnering with Delos Living for the installation of the space’s main features, Four Seasons transformed the fourth floor of the hotel into what they call a “wellness oasis” for its guests, according to Luxury Travel Advisor. Rabbit air purification systems ensure a healthy environment for guests while human-centric lighting installations support a healthy circadian rhythm for guests on the floor.
Exploring the Features of the Floor
The floor sports a mix of private wellness suites that guests can stay in, as well as public wellness spaces that all guests in the hotel can take part in. In addition, the floor houses the hotel spa, a Cabana restaurant specializing in plant-based options for food, a pool deck, and the main fitness center for the hotel. The hotel has also converted one of the main lobby-level conference rooms into a wellness-centered event space to further round out its offerings.
Guests staying on the wellness floor will also have complementary access to the private fitness suite located on the same floor, which features a treadmill, rowing machine, Peloton stationary bike, yoga equipment and medicine. For more spiritual and mental stimulation, however, guided meditations narrated by Deepak Chopra transport the mind to alternate areas of vacation while sulfate-free bath amenities provided by lather relax the body.
For those who stay at the hotel more for work over play, the Well Office is designed to keep guests energized and engaged while working. The entire space has been outfitted with adjustable conference tables, standing desks and standing desk stools for varying workstyles. A large screen television provides the backdrop for videoconferencing and meetings. The former Palm Room and Courtyard has also been converted into a wellness meeting and event space sporting similar features.
All of this comes with the awarding of the WELL Health-Safety rating to the hotel following its completion of a third-party documentation review by GBCI.
