Vantage, the lighting control brand of Legrand, has added human centric light manufacturer Soraa, a division of Korrus, to its growing light fixture alliance, which includes Colorbeam and PureEdge lighting, among others. This most recent partnership pairs Soraa’s retrofit lamp fixtures and best-in-class spectral technology with Vantage human centric lighting controls, which will allow users to control saturation, hue, intensity and color temperature.
“Soraa beautifully demonstrates the power that lighting has to transform a room and the mood,” said Dave Keller, Business Development, Legrand Residential Shading & Controls.
“Together with our controller, the lighting environment can be fully and effortlessly realized. We’re so excited to expand our offering of compatible lighting fixture options for our installers, designers, and architects looking to utilize Soraa in their plans.”
Soraa Makes a Perfect Pairing with Vantage’s LHUMAN Human Centric Lighting Solution
Founded by Nobel Prize Laureate Shuji Nakamura, who pioneered full-spectrum light to enhance natural quality light indoors, Soraa’s unique spectral lighting technology allows its LEDs to imitate natural lighting more closely.
The company has been widely adopted by lighting specifiers for museum, art gallery, and high-end retail settings. It has also a prominent choice among professionals for full-spectrum retrofits and replacements, though, as Soraa notes, the technology is not just limited to use in a commercial setting.
With their introduction into Vantage’s alliance, the company is also making it easier for residential install experts to have a stronger option when it comes to upgrading client homes from halogen to LED lighting. The company is driven to bringing nature’s light indoors, and the pairing of its products with the wellness-focused LHUMAN control system seeks to provide just that.
As part of this alliance, Soraa VIVID Brilliant and Warm Dim lamps are now guaranteed to work with Vantage’s InFusion controller and the company’s customizable keypads and touchpanels. This will also allow Soraa’s lighting to work in tandem with automated shading from Legrand Shading systems, so professionals can provide their clients the means to render the perfect lighting environment for any task our mood.
“We’re very excited to partner with Vantage and be part of their lighting alliance,” said Steve Glenn, Director of High-End Residential at Soraa. “Vantage’s keypad aesthetics and control solutions are second to none: intuitive, easy to program, and beyond the expectations of the homeowner.”
