Having been robbed of an in-person presentation last year, Toto’s Wellness Toilet now has a second opportunity to shine with the upcoming CES 2022. I should say Toto but given the rounds that news of the toilet made with last year’s announcement, I’m sure many tradeshow attendees will be eager to see Toto’s latest wellness innovation in person.
And why not? Though the technology is still somewhere of a ways off, the Wellness Toilet represents a truly unique take on infusing wellness into a house’s most sacred respite spaces. It also seems to be making a unique jump of trends. As more homes build bathrooms designed to be spas and healthcare hospitality hybrids grow increasingly ubiquitous, here is a home product providing a service that has only ever been provided by doctors.
Of course, a doctor the Wellness Toilet is not. At least, not right now. As already mentioned, the technology is still a bit of a ways off, and those attending CES 2022 will only be able to view a concept of what’s to come. That being said, it’s still an amazing and odd look into what the future holds for Toto, effectively making designers and remodelers potential purveyors of health diagnostic equipment.
Additional Innovations Center on Hygiene and Efficiency in the Bathroom
In addition to the Wellness Toilet, Toto will also be showcasing several of its latest innovations, including EWATER+ (electrolyzed water disinfectant), ACTILIGHT (light activated self-cleaning toilet bowl glazing), Tornado Flush (ultraefficient flushing and cleaning system) and Premist (proactive toilet bowl maintenance). All technologies will be able to be viewed in Toto’s latest toilet models as well as select smart sensor faucets.
CES 2022 will also give attendees the opportunities to browse all the newest models that Toto will be releasing for their Neorest, Washlet+ and Drake toilets. These will be displayed alongside its IoT-powered commercial restroom products and residential smart-sensor faucets at Booth #52129 on the tradeshow floor.
