At this year’s Orgatec 2022, SilentLab debuted a whole new line of products and features dedicated to workplace wellbeing and productivity. One of the largest fairs in Europe, Orgatec is tremendous space where manufacturers, architects, designers and more gather in the interest of developing modern workplace environments that fit the needs of workers, regardless of where they may end up working.
A leading manufacturer of acoustic office furniture, SilentLab made headlines earlier this year when its workplace solution MicroOffice Realm debuted at NeoCon and secured a Best of NeoCon 2022 Gold Prize. Dubbed a ‘wellbeing acoustic meeting room,’ the self-contained space is meant to provide employees with a pleasant, undisturbed environment for work and rest.
In a press release leading up to the event, SilentLab co-founder Jaroslav Vendl, expressed his excitement for the company’s chance to present at the tradeshow.
“We are pleased that SilentLab will again be present at one of the largest fairs in Europe. Our products are globally unique not only in terms of their design, but also in terms of their know-how and there is no competition for them abroad. As a Czech company abroad, we are also representing the quality of professionals and products that come solely from the Czech Republic.”
An Evolving Look into Modular Office Acoustics
With the concept of modular, acoustic meeting rooms still being unique to the market, Silent Lab’s own work in the space offers unique takes on the ideal working environment. Apart from the solutions themselves, these takes also boil down to the systems they employ within each unit.
While at the show this past weekend, Silent Lab showcased to attendees the unique set of technologies it now employs in every one of its acoustic office solutions, designed in the interest of employee health and wellbeing. These innovations include:
- Pro-cognitive lighting to help improve cognitive performance, vigilance and alertness while working in each space.
- An internal air conditioning unit to moderate air temperature and even cool the environment by seven to nine degrees Fahrenheit without condensate.
- A graphical control panel for customizable control of the environment’s ventilation and lighting.
In addition to these features, visitors to Orgatec also had a chance to experience the new MICROOFFICE UNIQ acoustic single box from SilentLab, which also won an award earlier this year at IF Design, marking a global first in the field and a great international success for Czech design.
SilentLab also debuted a MICROOFFICE acoustic room with maximum acoustic dampening and built-in equipment to prevent bugging, designed for clients where maintaining trade secrets is a top priority. The team also debuted a MICROFFICE with increased mechanical resilience meant for the more demanding conditions of a production or logistics space.
