Celebrity Cruises is gearing up to debut a new ship, Celebrity Beyond, in April 2022 with an extensive wellness program, reports Forbes. Actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow established a panel of industry experts, dubbed Women in Wellness, who will select the spa offerings, wellness events, fitness classes, and other programs that will be available aboard the ship.
The panel of women includes Yoga Professional founder Katie Brauer, who will create new onboard yoga flow classes; Noella Gabriel, the cofounder and global president of skin care brand Elemis, whose products will be used for spa treatments and amenities; Goop wellness director Kiki Koroshetz, who will select mindfulness content for stateroom TVs and other special programming; Australian sprinter Morgan Mitchell, who will help guide F45 exercises (varied, 45-minute, high-intensity group workouts) on the ship; Lifestyle brand Solluna founder Kimberly Snyder, who will curate an onboard meditation series; and SoulCycle and FlyWheel Sports cofounder Ruth Zukerman, who will provide a guide to onboard cycling.
“Wellness is so fundamental to our philosophy at Celebrity Cruises that we continue to build and grow a truly special onboard experience where it is woven into every aspect of the guest journey from the stateroom to the spa,” says Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises. “Because we’re doing all of this at sea, which is incredibly therapeutic in itself, it becomes a wonderful wellness journey unlike anything in the world.”
