A uniquely new offering from Canyon Ranch is coming to Fort Worth, Texas in the coming years—2023 to be exact. The famous destination health spa has announced its plans add a first-of-its-kind wellness club to the Crescent Fort Worth Development.
The development, which broke ground at the start of this week, is set to include a massive boutique hotel blending hospitality and residential spaces with a rooftop lounge, landscaped courtyard and event space, office spaces, apartment units and a decadent restaurant area overseen by renowned chef Dean Fearing of the eponymous Fearing’s in Dallas.
The urban oasis, which will be constructed separate from the hotel and thus will be available to the general public, will provide guests with wellness guidance from acclaimed experts, health-focused community programs, a member’s lounge and a 26,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, according to Culture Map. It will also be the brand’s first foray into delivering a wellness experience in an urban setting.
“While guests are always thrilled to visit one of our destination resorts, we believe this new concept will help them bring the best of Canyon Ranch home and live happier, healthier lives on a daily basis,” says Jeff Kuster, CEO of Canyon Ranch.
The First Step in a New Series
According to the company, one of the most intriguing aspects of this new concept is that members will be able to have a completely customized, integrated experience at the club. With exclusive offerings such as an ongoing social support system, frequent wellness coaching and benchmarking, membership at the club is meant to provide guidance in an individual’s everyday wellness practice, catered exclusively for them.
But these features won’t be exclusive to just this location. The Fort Worth club is expected to be one of several Canyon Ranch Wellness clubs opening in key markets across the country. With an active footprint in Tuscon, Arizona; Lenox, MA; Woodside, California; and Las Vegas, Nevada already, the location of where the next wellness club in this line may appear can only be speculated at this point.
